Aperitifs are one of the most anticipated moments of summer evenings: a chance to meet up with friends and family, share a few appetizers, and indulge in a fresh drink.
In recent years, the world of mixology has also begun to explore ingredients from gastronomy, capable of adding character and depth to cocktails. Among these, Balsamic Vinegar stands out for its perfect balance between sweetness, acidity and aromatic complexity.
A few drops are enough to enhance the aromas of a drink, creating an elegant and surprising finish.
We have selected three simple cocktails to prepare, perfect to accompany your summer aperitifs.

Modena Spritz
An interpretation of the great Italian classic, enriched by the aromatic complexity of our Balsamic Condiment “Legendary 32 Transfers”.
Ingredients
- 3 parts of Prosecco
- 2 parts of Bitter
- 1 part of Soda
- 4-5 drops of Balsamic Condiment “Legendary 32 Transfers”
- ice
- a slice of orange to garnish
Preparation
Fill a glass with ice, pour in the Prosecco, bitter and soda. Finally add a few drops of Balsamic Condiment 32 Transfers and mix gently. Top with a slice of orange.
The balsamic gives greater depth to the cocktail and a pleasant aromatic persistence that accompanies every sip.
Balsamic Negroni
With its strong character, Negroni acquires a new nuance thanks to Acetaia Marchi’s Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI Platinum Seal.
Ingredients
- 3 cl of gin
- 3 cl of bitter
- 3 cl of red vermouth
- a few drops of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI Platinum Seal
- ice
- 1 teaspoon of Orange Pearls
- orange zest
Preparation
Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and mix gently. Strain into a tumbler with fresh ice, add a few drops of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI Platinum Seal and finish with an orange zest and a few orange pearls.
The result is an elegant cocktail, where spicy and citrus notes are enhanced by the complexity of the balsamic vinegar.
Summer Garden (non-alcoholic)
A fresh, light and perfect proposal even for those who want an alcohol-free aperitif.
Ingredients
- tonic water
- a few slices of cucumber
- fresh basil
- 5 ml of Delicate White Condiment
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Pearls
- ice
Preparation
Fill a glass with ice, add the cucumber and a few lightly crushed basil leaves. Pour in the tonic water and finish with the White Delicate Condiment. Stir gently and add the Lemon Pearls before serving.
The White Delicate Condiment adds complexity without covering the freshness of the other ingredients, while the Lemon Pearls give a citrus finish and a pleasant experience on the palate.
