This Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO has a certified minimum aging of 25 years and is made from Lambrusco and Trebbiano grapes. It is aged in a series of different woods such as: Oak, Chestnut, Acacia, Cherry, Robinia, Ash, and Mulberry.
The typical bottle, spherical in shape with a rectangular base made of solid glass, exclusively designed by the designer Giugiaro, is mandatory for all producers, as established by the Production Regulations, and is sealed with a numbered stamp.

The package includes the Consortium booklet in several languages, the pouring cap, and the precious ceramic spoon.

The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP Extravecchio boasts a unique flavor precisely thanks to its certified minimum aging of 25 years. It is made from Lambrusco and Trebbiano native Modenese grapes grown in family vineyards and aged in sets of barrels made from precious woods such as Oak, Chestnut, Acacia, Cherry, Robinia, Ash, and Mulberry.

The Black Gold in question is taken exclusively from the personal barrels of the founder of Acetaia Marchi, Francesco Marchi (from whom the name derives), as these barrels are the first used for the maturation of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP and therefore the oldest. The amount of product available is extremely limited, but at the same time, it is the finest Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP Extravecchio.

It is presented in a noble way, with a prestigious wooden box that recalls the origins of our product, designed to make it even more precious and suitable for the most refined gifts.
