Little onions with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.G.I.

How about a tasty starter of spring onions with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.G.I.? These delicacies can also be served as a side dish, perhaps alongside a portion of white meat. INGREDIENTS:

450 g of small Borettane onions
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
Salt to taste
Half a glass of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI
2 spoons of sugar

PREPARATION:

Peel and wash the spring onions. Pour the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena I.G.P. and sugar into a frying pan and melt until smooth. In another pan fry the spring onions with oil and salt. Add the spring onions to the mixture and cook over a low heat for 15 minutes. Serve the spring onions with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena I.G.P. warm.
