Acetaia Marchi for the Acetaie Aperte 2021 initiative

The initiative that allows balsamic vinegar lovers to discover how this product is made and to enter the world of the vinegar factories is back again this year. Acetaie Aperte 2021 will be held on the last Sunday of September, the 26th, and preparations are already in full swing for the many producers in our area who have decided to take part.

We at Acetaia Marchi will also be taking part in the event, opening the doors of our company and taking you on a discovery of authentic and special products such as Balsamic Vinegar of Modena I.G.P. and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena D.O.P. The initiative

Acetaie Aperte 2021 features more than 30 companies from the Province of Modena that this year have decided to let visitors taste and get to know their production up close. The participating companies, which continue to increase day by day, will be open to the public on Sunday 26 September 2021. Each will organise visits in a personalised way, ensuring an exciting experience for people of all ages and, of course, safe from a health point of view. Guided tours of the production chains, tastings and entertainment: these are the keywords of the visits planned for the Acetaie Aperte 2021 event.

Aperte Acetaie Aperte 2021 tastings: not just balsamic vinegar

The great thing about an initiative of this kind is that it not only allows you to discover the characteristics and stages of production of balsamic vinegar: it also allows you to get to know unique tastes. The tastings will allow each guest to savour the many organoleptic nuances of balsamic vinegar, both traditional and otherwise, and even of many other typical local products. From classic crescentine to crostini, from cheeses to local cured meats: at Acetaie Aperte 2021 every palate will be satisfied!

As previously mentioned, we will also be taking part in this initiative organised by the two consortia for the protection of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO and the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena I.G.P. We will take visitors to our Vinegar Works to discover these fantastic condiments.

For the occasion we offer a guided tour of our company, accompanied by a tasting of our products. There will be tigelle tastings and glasses of Lambrusco for everyone! Visits for the Acetaie Aperte 2021 event can be booked, at a cost of €5 per person, for the following times:
